Amid a global mental health crisis intensified by digital detachment, this project offers a refuge for those seeking genuine interaction online. Inspired by the art of correspondence, it reimagines the exchange of anonymous messages as a ritual of emotional release and renewal.
Using the Internet as a creative medium, the work takes the form of an online space that invites users to write heartfelt memos to someone in the future. These messages are reinterpreted through creative coding that responds to emotions, location, and weather. Visualized with Plutchik’s emotion model and geolocation data, each memo transforms into a generative typographic piece, serving both as personal postcards and as fragments of a larger collective museum online.
The platform seeks to create small moments of positivity, helping people navigate difficult times through the interplay of visual and written art.
